Samsung Galaxy S - Preview, Features & Review at Bloggers Meet, Mumbai
July 2 ' 2010: Samsung, the pioneer of Mobile Communication and Electronics showcased the future beyond', next generation Smartphones- Samsung Wave & Galaxy S to all the Bloggers at an Event held at the The Leela Kempinski , Mumbai on Friday.
I got a chance to review and dabble with both the phones at the Blogger's event. The Android 2.1 powered Samsung Galaxy S boasts of a dazzling 4-inch Super AMOLED screen, a 1 GHz application processor. The design is Slimmer, and makes video display so astonishingly vivid, your display almost seems alive when you are gaming or watching movies. It is based on Samsung's latest TouchWiz 3.0 user-interface. Feature such as Swype text input device, allows users to type at lightning speed, even faster than the iPhone.
Wave is the first mobile handset to be released on Samsung's proprietary, 'open' mobile platform 'Bada'. The word bada in Korean means Ocean and this platform truly showcases an ocean of possibilities.

With More than 50,000 applications available to download from the Android Market, Users now have access to Gmail, Google Maps, Youtube, Google Maps and other applications giving them a seamless experience.The best part of these Apps, is that every application is categorised, and new updates are shown in the application screen whenever there is a new application developed.

With a Wave of Features in the Galaxy S such as the Tapping feature, which enables you to Call by just flipping your fingers to the right, and SMS a contact by flipping your fingers to the left. Special Mention of the 5 Megapixel camera, which shoots pictures and videos with crystal clear quality.
Samsung's foray into the smartphone market, has paved the path of delivering iPhone like user experience to lakh of Indian consumers. I would rate this phone, as the most sleekest, fastest and dazzling phone in the market now after the iPhone4.
